NBL travel and time zones: identify the game first

Use the official NBL schedule to attach a bookmaker quote to the correct Australian or New Zealand fixture.

Check the local start

The NBL spans Australian cities and New Zealand, so a fixture's listed date and tip-off need a stated time zone. Use the league schedule for the teams and venue, then translate the start time for your own screen if needed. A same-team matchup in another round is a different event even when the market label is identical.

Treat travel as context

An away trip or short turnaround can be relevant background, but a schedule entry does not prove that a bookmaker total should move or that one side is undervalued. If an article discusses travel, state the sourced route and dates. Keep any observed head-to-head, line or total quote separate and time-stamped.

Compare exact numbers

For the identified game, group the same selected team and signed line or the same over/under and total across bookmakers. Do not move a quote from a Perth home game to a New Zealand away game to fill a missing price. Check the bookmaker's current event screen before acting.

Worked example

Illustration: Team A +4.5 at 1.90 in a Friday home game and Team A +4.5 at 1.95 in a Sunday away game are different bets. The apparent five-cent price difference is not a same-event comparison.

Illustrative numbers for explaining the calculation. They are not current bookmaker quotes.

Sources and method

The teams, days and prices are hypothetical. The official NBL schedule is the fixture source; no travel-based price effect is claimed.
